In the ancient Via Foria not far from the historical center is located the Real Orto Botanico (1807) an elegant and relaxing walk, full of curiosity and culture. The exhibition areas extend for 12 hectares and are home to 9000 different plant species, inside the Castle (XVI) is housed the Museum. Very important from a scientific point of view is also very nice to visit, very interesting the different areas from citrus grove to the palm grove and the desert, the beach, the Mediterranean.
